Tony Allen, Director of Instruction at Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club, has been a PGA member since 2007. He started playing golf at the age of fourteen with the help and direction from his dad, Ted Allen. At the age of sixteen, he began working in the golf industry as an employee of the cart staff at Bear Creek Golf World under the late Dick Forester (Head Pro). Working all through high school, he was able to develop his knowledge of golf through the professional staff. He went on to medal in varsity golf at Jersey Village High School and played for Wharton Junior College for one year. In 1998, he returned to the golf business as an Assistant Golf Professional at Jersey Meadows Golf Course. In 2000, he began working as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Raveneaux Country Club. In 2006, he had the opportunity to be the Head Golf Professional at Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club in Katy, Texas where he was nominated for Teacher of the Year for the PGA Southern Texas Section Eastern Chapter in 2011 and won Professional of the Year for all of Heritage Golf Group in 2012. In 2013, he decided to take his career in a new direction as Director of Instruction at Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club. Over the years, he has helped many students reach their personal goals with full-swing, short game and putting. He has also developed many young students to be successful enough to get scholarships to different colleges around the country, with many more on their way. He has been a Certified Club Fitter for Mizuno since 2001, became a Titleist Certified Club Fitter in 2011 and is currently on the Mizuno & Ping Professional Staff. Tony's passion for golf along with his friendly demeanor puts his students of all levels at ease. His teaching philosophy and approach is simple; help each student accomplish a competent golf swing by learning and understanding the five basic fundamentals, have practical knowledge of their short game and Rules of Golf. He believes his successful development of each student will preserve and promote the integrity of the game for generations to come.

I will never ask you to do something I don't truly believe you can do!"
