Dr. Jefrey J. Garcia was raised and educated in California. In 1984, he attended California State University-Fullerton on an athletic scholarship. He earned his first B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology. In 1989, he received a B.S. degree in Biology from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he also received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine in 1992. He has been a practicing Chiropractor in the Houston area for over 20 years. He maintains licenses in both Texas and California. His successful family practice meets the needs of a full gamut of patients, from professional athletes to weekend warriors as well as personal injuries due to auto or work-related accidents. He served as team chiropractor for the Houston Rockets in 1998 when Rudy T. was head coach. His unique style and practical technique helps give his patients excellent results. His extensive knowledge and array of athletics, biomechanics, and exercise allows him to utilize multiple disciplines for fantastic results: physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic manipulative therapy as well as strength and conditioning to get the desired affects for his patients. He became a certified Manipulaton Under Anesthesia (MUA) physician in 2008 and has personally performed over 150 procedures. Dr. Garcia is a frequent contributor to Health & Fitness Magazine and is often invited by civic groups to speak on health issues. He regularly appeared on a call-in readio show as the "Go to Doc" for health and fitness questions from the listeners. On a personal note, Dr. Garcia's favorite pastime and leisure activity is still golf where he has a single digit handicap and aspires to play courses all over the world one day. Dr. Garcia resides in Katy, Texas with his wife and two children who attend Seven Lakes High School and Beckendorff Junior High.
